A restaurant almost on the verge of shutting down.

An audit of the restaurant revealed an outdated interior and a menu which no one wanted. In the first phase a new identity was developed. A total revamp of the identity was undertaken, the food menu was totally transformed and interiors changed to create a new positioning.

Unbelievable but true. Three stickers which helped turn the restaurant around. Sustained advertising in the neighbouring areas for three months but limited to the weekends did the trick. Of course the quality of food was the real hero. The restaurant broke even in 4 months…..a feat which even the client accepts is remarkable.

The Client – Mela wanted to launch another brand of restaurants. A wholistic plan starting from name generation and developing ideas for the type of cuisine was conceived in the highly competitive Indian restaurant market in London. Absolutely new identity was created. With unique plates for the main course and the starters. Unique menu was made: The Menu changes every month, a daunting task by any restaurant. Because of the ever changing nature of the menu, the theme was conceived and executed in black and white to keep printing costs low. Fetches rave reviews in the media.
